Feel Good Friday

It just turned Friday.  I also JUST got home.
**Shocker** right?

I was out singing Karaoke with my neighbor

yeah
we're tight like that!

Yesterday I was a busy bee.

I went to the doctor.  I ended up having an EKG done.

I walked out with answers
and medicine prescriptions.

I got my hair cut and I really, really like it.

I got to hug the babysitters
- my Mommy and Daddy.

I played OUTSIDE with my lovely little boys.
I closed my eyes and let the sun shine on my face.

And then I got to go out with my neighbor.
Did I mention my neighbor is also my SISTER!!

And we went to KARAOKE NIGHT.
I love karaoke.  (Kerri-oke)

We sang our fannies off and we were pretty smuckin awesome!!

Crowd cheered (all 13 of them) for us and everything.

I ran a tab at the bar for the first time ever
(I bought exactly 2 beers and 3 glasses of water)

What a night!!

I love my sister.

Thanks for capping off a day of answers with an evening of not thinking of a smuckin thing 'cept what's coming next on that fancy little karaoke teleprompter thingy.

And as we went to step on the escalator I still swear you said

"Es-ca - LATER" to that security cop

rather then "See you later"

but whatev........

What about you?
Any die hard karaoke fans out there?
What's your favorite song to sing?

Together we sang:
Goodbye Earl - The Dixie Chicks
and
Sin Wagon - The Dixie Chicks

I sang:
Suds In The Bucket - Sara Evans
and
Let 'er Rip - The Dixie Chicks

My sister sang:
We Belong To the Night - Pat Benatar
and
Born To Fly - Sara Evans

I'm glad you had a fun evening, and especially that you were able to forget about everything else for a while!

I'm glad that you got to see the doctor, and that you got some answers.

And yay for family and good haircuts! :)

I love karaoke! My brother and I can sing 'til the wee hours of the morning. Too bad he doesn't live next door.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great Easter weekend! :)

Sounds like a GOOD day!! You are brave to do karaoke...I've never tried. I think I would need a really stiff drink (or 8) to actually do it!! ;)

I've been too shy to sing kareoke. Also I'm tone deaf with very little pitch discrimination so I keep my singing to private. I'm glad for you. There is nothing like the joy of singing. I do know that joy.
