Wordless Wednesday 2/03/2010

I'm having a hard time not using words lately.

I have an all season porch where I keep a lot of plants that I forget to water.

I have a geranium that blooms every season. As well as a begonia.

The other day I was welcomed

by this.

Ok, plant people.  Tell me what beauty of a plant did I NOT know that I had.

Did I mention that I live in Upstate, NY and outside is cold, snowy and did I say COLD.

This gave me hope for, dare I say it?

SPRING!!

Check out my 100th post and Giveaway
Hurry.  It ends on Feb 6th

@Kim, actually they are in the cactus family and thrive very well with little to Kerri's version of watering lol ;) They do quite well in the cold and enjoy being outdoors in the summer, but not in the sun...they thrive on indirect light! :)

well, crap...guess I shoulda read these comments before I gave this KALANCHOE (seriously?) a big wet drink. Guess it's gonna die now.....

lol...it shouldn't die, just make sure you have a hole on the bottom for drainage....let it dry out before another watering session.

Kalanchoe is my thought...google it and you shall see.. ;)
