Weekly Menu Monday

The calendar says it is March 1st.
We have the most snow we've had all winter.
We are supposed to get even more this week.
The calendar says in just 20 short days the first day of spring will be here.
Now mother nature does some amazing work but melting these ginormous snow mounds AND getting her beautiful tulips to poke their heads through seems to me, a daunting task.

But she always manages to surprise me so I shall cast my doubt aside.

These past weeks menu was so-so.   Darren selected the Sloppy Joe (fun, relaxed make a mess) meal as the winner for the week and surprisingly enough selected the
(stately Sunday) Pot Roast as runner up.

I was disappointed most by the slow cooker fajitas.  I couldn't follow the recipe as written by Mama M.  I had to alter it so the boys would eat it.  It was really bland.  Next time I make it I will prepare something else for the boys so Hubby and I can delight our taste buds with some tingly hotness.

I have no fun photos to share this week of the food.  I need to work on taking more.  I always say that...I wonder if I ever will do what I say.

This week though,  I think I have a menu to get excited about.

So, here it is!

Monday - Buffalo Chicken Pasta
(Thanks to Shell at Things I Can't Say)
Tuesday -  Slow Cooker Hamburger Stew
Wednesday - Sweet and Sour Smoked Sausage
Thursday - Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs
Friday - Golden Chicken Tenders (Stove Top Stuffing is part of the topping)
Saturday - Ham and Spinach Quiche
Sunday - Meatloaf

Happy Weekly Menu Monday.
May you have a week of stress free yummy meals to look forward to
or just take my menu and call it your own!

A few other things I must mention:

I got news yesterday that all my previous blog posts are being transferred over to my new Wordpress site.  It seems it might happen some time rather soon.  The new layout is not yet completed but I am anxious to start
getting to know the ropes over there so I will start posting from there before the layout is complete.  I will be posting a blog on this site explaining how to find the new home of Kerri's Klutter.  Everyone will have to update their links in order to find me and my new posts.  I hope I don't lose any of you.

ALSO A REMINDER:
Will you please join me in helping to deliver spirit by supporting the cause Cards4Cancer?  Please check out my blog post
Spirit Jump and Cards 4 Cancer and start making your cards and spreading the word today.

Hey! You weren't supposed to be around for the next 7 days, rememeber? You are to be lying in bed with heating pad on your cramps and wet washcloth on your forehead!!! Does this mean you are feeling better? Or perhaps a fluke??

Hope this post means that you're feeling better!

I couldn't find the recipe for Buffalo Chicken Pasta at Shell's blog, but I'll keep looking. This sounds great to me: thanks!

I'm really excited you linked to the sweet and sour recipe, because that's the one that really caught my eye!

We are expecting ANOTHER snowstorm here tomorrow. Seriously? This is NOT why I moved to the south!
