please post this my dear

Last night, the Eve before our 7th Wedding Anniversary Darren sent me an email.
The subject read: please post this my dear
So, like the wonderful doting wife I am, I did.
I believe this qualifies as Darren's 2nd Guest post.

LUCKY Seven,  LUCKY Me,  LUCKY We.

Today, March 8th, Kerri and I celebrate our 7th anniversary of wedded bliss.  Well, not all bliss.  There’s been some bumps, bruises, bangs, blips, and burps along the way.  BUT, when the day is said and done, I’m right where I want to be.  Next to my lover, my best friend, and my dearest confidante…Kerri.  LUCKY is Me.
While we have been married for 7 years, we have actually been together for 10.  With that being said, there are so many things I could point to that symbolize our relationship.  As a tribute to year 7, I have selected something relating to the number 7….Button.  Button, a Papillion, was Kerri’s little doggie.  You see, they say the average year of a dog compared to 1 human year is equal to….yup, 7 years.  LUCKY Seven.

Button was a little ankle-biter who was always by your side.  No hiding from her, no way!  She was always up your BUTT.  However, she absolutely won a spot in my heart.  We became fast friends, and forever united in our love for Kerri.  Button meant so many things to Kerri.  She was with her through many ups & downs, travels & trips, and life-changing moments.  An ever-faithful companion to the end.

She is as much a part of “us,” as anything.  I know, I know…a dog?  Yeah, a dog.  While she was, and always will be Kerri’s dog, she most certainly became mine as well.  She was a part of the union that became Kerri and Darren.  It’s been almost 3 years since she’s pitter-pattered around our lives.  Since then we’ve filled our home with Charlie, Lily, and Nicholas.  While they’re just making their niche’ in our home, Button will never be forgotten.  LUCKY We.
Happy 7th My Love!

Great job on your blog it seems like yesterday all those plans went in to motion, And yes all the bumps, burps, bruises help you to be that much stronger to help get you thru much of the bumps and bruises. And from those 7 years you have given me 2 wonderful grandsons that any grandma would be proud of.
